Results of the First User-Activated Stress Test (UAST)

Today we did an impromptu stress test on mainnet. The idea was to upload a bunch of files and see if we could produce a 128 MB block. We didn’t get that far, but we did produce a 45 MB block.

Here are some of the things uploaded today.

The top lesson learned is that Money Button has some kind of scaling problem since it broke four times during the stress test. We will identify and fix that issue before attempting another stress test.
